Masera enters the NCAA Tournament second in the nation in points/game (6.12), goals/game (4.06), and ninth in draws/game (8.00) and a Tewaaraton nominee for the third straight season. Her 104 points in 2024 are eight shy of the CAA single-season record, while her 136 draws are 15 back of the single-season mark set by Elon’s MJ Santa Barbara earlier this season.

Masera will be the fifth CAA alum on the AU season-opening roster in the league’s four seasons, joining Katie Hertsch and Alyssa Parrella (Hofstra), Haley Warden (James Madison), and Tianna Wallpher (Towson). She will be the third Stony Brook alum in the league, following Ally Kennedy and Kylie Ohlmiller. Two current CAA head coaches – Drexel’s Katie O’Donnell and Towson’s Kristen Carr – were also announced as part of the 2024 Opening Day roster.
This summer’s Athletes Unlimited season will be played at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland and begin on July 18. Schedule and broadcast information will follow later this spring.
