West Florida's season has been up and down since being ranked #12 in the preseason AFCA Division II Coaches Poll. Their record sits at 2-2 with a close, near-comeback loss at home to #21 ranked West Alabama and a much more one-sided loss to the much higher-ranked Grand Valley State on September 28, with a final score of 7-31.
