Here's When Liberty University Competes At 2025 UCA College Nationals
The Liberty University cheerleaders will be competing for national championships this year at the '25 UCA College Nationals. Here’s when the Flames compete.
The Liberty University cheerleading team may be the top up-and-coming squad to watch at the 2025 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship.
The Flames picked up a pair of top-10 finishes at the event in 2024 and will be looking to improve on those Division IA Coed Cheer and Division IA Mascot performances in 2025.
This year’s event will take place Jan. 17-19 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

This competition is the culmination of a year of hard work and is the most prestigious event on the collegiate cheer and dance schedule.
Last year, the Liberty cheerleaders finished eighth in the coed cheer event, improving from a 10th-place effort in 2023.
In the mascot competition, the school’s mascot, Sparky, finished fifth, up from ninth in 2023.
At UCA College Nationals in 2024, Liberty also entered the Coed Stunt competition and finished 13th.
Liberty University long has been known for its online programs, now serving more than 124,000 students, but the Lynchburg, Virginia, school also is seeing record numbers of on-campus students, with enrollment now exceeding 16,000.

Liberty University Cheer Team Schedule At UCA College Nationals 2025
- Liberty University Cheer will compete in the DIA Coed Cheer semifinals on Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).
- Liberty University Cheer will compete in the DIA Mascot competition on Jan. 18 at 4:40 p.m. (AdventHealth Arena – South).
How To Watch UCA College Nationals 2025
The entire event is streaming on Varsity TV and the new FloSports app beginning Jan. 17.
Event replays, highlights and breaking news will be available on both platforms.
The rebroadcast will stream on Varsity TV on a delay of 24 hours.
